Why didn’t anyone make this sooner? I hate when people only use the word “said” in stories.

Oh my god our teacher gave this to us a few years ago and then officially banned “said” from all of our stories in her class. Yep.
Changing up words is good but using a different synonym for “said” each time can actually be kinda jarring. Use this list wisely.

If you change it up you start to sound like you’re focusing on it. If said seems natural, by all means use it. I know I’ve read reviews that praised the fact that I just used “said” and I do it on purpose because sometimes dialogue is just being spoken without too much intent or emotion.

I just want to try something new, I don’t know. I’m still gonna reblog regular show stuff, it’s just that I feel like my tumblr focuses alot on Mordecai x Rigby which is a ship that kind of sunk and ever since it feels like people just don’t really care that much. Plus, I know alot of irl people (siblings and classmates) who have asked if they can follow me and i always have to explain that my tumblr is kind of weird.

This is kind of a test to see what sort of reception it gets. I’m not all that impressed with the site itself, but it might make it easier to keep track of stuff once I get used to it.
I think, in future, I will be uploading Soda chapters to FF.net and linking to them from Tumblr, as I still want to draw for it and the images function on FF is pretty limited.
